- I have a 2MB PCMCIA card (the PSram by New Media Corp). I got it for my
- A600 and carried it over when I upgraded to an A1200. When I first used
- it in the a1200 it caused a lot of crashes. The crashes (due to the RAM
- card) stopped when I got an accelerator card with 1 MB of 32-bit fast
- RAM. I ran some tests usng programs like SYSinfo and AIBB, and I don't
- think that it slows my machine any.
-
- I later got a 4MB SIMM to replace the 1MB SIMM, and I still use the
- PCMCIA card. It's nice having an extra 2mb of ram.
-
- Also, this particular card autoconfigures...i.e. I didn't have to use
- PrepCard to get it to work. Of course, it doesn't have a battery backup,
- and it crashes the machine when it is pulled out while the computer is on...

- I don't have to be perfect,... just better than everyone else.
